Flag Hoisting – Independence Day 2025

Independence Day is one of the most significant days in India’s history, symbolizing the sacrifices of countless freedom fighters and the birth of an independent nation. On 15th August 2025, the Cuttack Netaji Bus Terminal (CNBT) came alive with vibrant tricolor decorations, patriotic songs, and enthusiastic participation as the nation celebrated its 79th Independence Day.

The ceremony began in the morning with the gathering of officials, staff members, students, and local citizens at the terminal. The entire premises were decorated with tricolor balloons, flowers, and banners highlighting the spirit of freedom. The national flag was hoisted by Mr. Soura Panda, accompanied by the singing of the National Anthem by all present. As the flag unfurled, flower petals showered from above, filling the atmosphere with patriotic fervor. The event was graced by dignitaries, uniformed guards, and cultural performers, making it a memorable occasion.
